James Gunn Searches for Talent to Fill Superman Legacy Roles

Following the success of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, director James Gunn has turned his attention to Superman: Legacy. The auditioning process has been ongoing for several weeks, and Gunn is only now starting to watch audition tapes.

Actors in the Mix

Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, Jacob Elordi, and Andrew Richardson are among those being considered for the role of Clark Kent, aka Superman. Meanwhile, Emma Mackey, Rachel Brosnahan, and Samara Weaving are among those up for the role of Lois Lane.

The Search for Lex Luthor

According to sources, Gunn has been in touch with some A-list names he has worked with in the past to potentially fill the role of Superman’s nemesis, Lex Luthor. However, a part labeled “Apex” has also been tested, which could hint at a multiverse situation as Apex Lex Luthor has had run-ins with other Luthors in various dimensions.

Despite the auditioning process being complete, Gunn is expected to take some time to make a decision. Fans eagerly await the announcement of who will land these highly-coveted roles in Superman: Legacy.
