Honor, the Chinese smartphone brand, is gearing up to launch the Honor X9b 5G in India on February 15. Alongside the smartphone, the brand will also unveil the Honor Choice X5 earphones and Honor Choice Watch. As the launch approaches, Honor has released several teasers revealing key specifications and color options of the Honor X9b 5G.
The Honor X9b 5G is confirmed to feature the powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. To support this performance, the smartphone is equipped with a massive 5,800mAh battery. Honor claims that the battery unit can deliver up to 18 hours of calling time, 12 hours of gaming time, and 19 hours of video playback on a single charge. Impressively, even after 1,000 charge cycles, the battery retains 80 percent of its capacity.
Running on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2, the Honor X9b 5G offers a customized and upgraded user experience. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, users will have ample space for their files, apps, and multimedia. Additionally, the device introduces virtual RAM feature, allowing the onboard memory to be expanded by up to 20GB.
The Honor X9b 5G comes in two visually appealing color options: Midnight Black and Sunrise Orange. Its design is said to be inspired by high-end watches, giving it a premium and sophisticated look. The official launch of the Honor X9b 5G is scheduled for February 15 in India. The Indian variant of the Honor X9b 5G is expected to retain the 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen and 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup seen in the global variant.
