In a groundbreaking move, the World AI Creator Awards (WAIC) has announced the launch of Miss AI, the world’s first beauty pageant contest to judge the best artificial intelligence (AI) models and influencers. This unique competition aims to recognize and celebrate the achievements of AI creators from around the globe.
Participants in Miss AI will be judged on three main criteria – beauty, tech, and social clout. Beauty will focus on the classic aspects of pageantry, including physical beauty, poise, and the ability to articulate answers to a series of questions. Tech will assess the creators’ skills in using and implementing AI tools to create their models, as well as their ability to generate outputs using prompts. Social clout will be evaluated based on the creators’ engagement with fans, growth in audience numbers, and utilization of platforms such as Instagram.
A panel of four judges will assess all the participants in the competition. Interestingly, two of the judges are AI influencers themselves – Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini, who have amassed a large following on Instagram. In addition to the AI influencers, entrepreneur Andrew Bloch and beauty pageant judge Sally-Ann Fawcett will also serve as judges on the panel, representing real humans.
The winners of Miss AI will be awarded a total of $20,000 in prizes, with the winner receiving a cash prize of $5,000. In addition to the cash prize, the winners and runners-up will also receive mentorship programs, promotional packages, and PR support. The competition is open to AI creators who have developed AI-generated models and influencers, as long as they are over 18 years old and have a social media presence.
While the concept of an AI influencer pageant may seem unconventional, Miss AI represents a new frontier in the world of artificial intelligence and social media.
