The CMF Phone 1 is creating quite a buzz in the tech world, with details slowly being revealed by the company Nothing, leading up to its official launch on July 8. While leaked renders have given us a glimpse of the device’s design, recent leaks have shed more light on its specifications and pricing in India.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and will come in two variants – one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and another with 8GB of RAM and the same storage capacity. The phone is also rumored to support up to 2TB of expandable storage via microSD. Additionally, the device is expected to have a manual rotating wheel/dial and replaceable customizable rear panels, adding to its unique design.
The CMF Phone 1 is said to sport a 50MP primary rear camera along with a depth sensor, while the front camera will be a 16MP shooter for selfies. The primary rear camera is rumored to support 4K video recording at 30fps but may lack optical image stabilization (EIS only). In terms of battery, the phone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.
The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint reader and will run on Android 14 out of the box. It is also said to have basic IP52 certification against dust and water, making it suitable for everyday use. The display is rumored to be an LTPS panel with a typical brightness of 800 nits and peak brightness of 2000 nits, offering a vibrant viewing experience. Furthermore, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to have a mono speaker for audio output.
Yogesh Brar’s leaks suggest that the CMF Phone 1 will be priced at Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 17,999 for the two available variants after discounts. This pricing places it in an attractive price point range, especially considering its unique design and features. The device is expected to go on sale in India soon after its official launch.
