Sir Rod Stewart Wants to Provide More MRI Scans for NHS Patients

Sir Rod Stewart has expressed his desire to offer more free MRI scans for NHS patients but is struggling to receive a response. The singer paid for members of the public to have scans at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex in February, after returning from a scan himself. He pledged to help the NHS during a Sky News phone-in in January. Sir Rod said he wants to offer scans all over the country, but is struggling to make progress. He has received no help despite his willingness to pay for 30 to 40 scans in a few hours. Sir Rod is determined to keep his promise and provide more help to the NHS.

Support for Nurses’ Strikes

Sir Rod Stewart also expressed his support for the recent nurses’ strikes. He said he is well on their side and they are “absolutely right”. He added that he was with them and they come before anything else. The singer has upcoming performances in the UK with Boy George and Culture Club as his support act. Sir Rod expressed his excitement to perform with Boy George, saying that they have had fun times together and that he loves him.
