Friends Pay Tribute to Suleman Dawood, Victim of Titan Sub Implosion

The friends of Suleman Dawood, a 19-year-old victim of the Titan sub implosion, have expressed their grief over the loss of a kind and empathetic friend. The four friends, who attended Strathclyde University with Suleman, described him as a supportive friend who always displayed genuine concern for others. Isaac, one of his friends, lauded his remarkable capacity for giving his time and empathy. According to Isaac, Suleman embodied everything of a true friendship, and his presence in their lives was a comforting reminder that someone truly cared for them and would be there with them through anything.

Another friend, Calum, said that he had not met anyone else like Suleman. He described how Suleman instantly made him feel welcomed and safe when he first came to the university. Calum fondly remembers how Suleman always found time to listen to him no matter how small the issue was and offered his thoughts. Suleman was always putting others in front of himself, and this act of kindness endeared him to his friends.

Suleman Dawood, a Generous and Down-to-Earth Person

Cody, another friend of Suleman, described him as a good person who cared intently about someone he hadn’t even met. Cody recalled an incident when Suleman approached a homesick student and offered him a sandwich, showing his compassionate and generous nature. Joe, another friend, rebuked online comments making assumptions about Suleman. According to Joe, Suleman was the most helpful person he had ever met, and he was incredibly kind and respectful. Joe remembers how Suleman spoke very highly of his parents and sister and had great affection for them.

Anyone who knew Suleman, even for a short period, knew how much of a generous and down-to-earth person he was. He loved making memories with his friends, whether it was going for a meal, watching a film, or spending time together.

Strathclyde University Offers Condolences

Strathclyde University also offered its condolences to the Dawood family. Professor Sir Jim McDonald, the principal and vice-chancellor of the university, expressed his shock and profound sadness over the death of Suleman Dawood and his father in this tragic incident. The entire Strathclyde community offered their deepest condolences to the Dawood family and all those affected by this terrible accident.

Earlier, Suleman’s high school paid tribute to the former student who embodied the true spirit of exploration. Suleman’s aunt mentioned that he had been terrified before the trip but had gone along as a Father’s Day present.
