Levi Davies, a visitor staying at the campsite, witnessed the horrifying crash unfold. He described hearing the tires screeching as the car careened around a corner before a loud bang resonated through the air as the vehicle crashed onto the campsite. In a state of panic, Davies and others ran out to assess the situation. They discovered a person still trapped inside the car, covered in blood. Clare Harris, co-owner of the Newgale campsite, recounted the harrowing moments leading up to the crash. According to her, the car was speeding down a hill and attempted to brake when it realized it needed to slow down. Unfortunately, the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to flip and roll several times before colliding with the tent. Harris expressed relief that the baby in the tent emerged unscathed.
