Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cameron Sutton has been suspended eight games without pay for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, the league announced Monday. This punishment comes as a result of a domestic violence case in which he was charged with misdemeanor battery after turning himself in to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. This decision comes after Sutton entered a pretrial diversion program in April to address the domestic violence case against him.
