Bike Strike Protest
The “Bike Strike” protest, organized by a group of bicyclists, rolled through Warner Bros., Disney, and Netflix, with a total distance of 27 miles. The protest ended with a stop at Swingers for lunch.
Daisy Jones & the Six Listening Party
At NBCUniversal, the writers of Daisy Jones & the Six turned out as picketers staged a cover-to-cover listening party of Aurora, the show’s soundtrack album. Judalina Neira, supervising producer of the show and lot coordinator for the NBCU picket line, coordinated the listening party.
Challenges of Picketing
Neira acknowledged the challenges of picketing outside studios and networks, especially in the spread-out Valley. She emphasized the importance of fun, special-themed pickets to draw people out and make the time go by faster.
